Request FAQ

What happens after submission?

The website first attempts to save the complete request. If successful, it returns a Novan order ID. Availability, documentation status, shipping, the final total, and any payment instructions are then confirmed separately in writing.

Is submitting a request the same as paying?

No. Submission records the materials and details for review. Do not send payment until written instructions reference the saved order ID and state the final terms.

How do I know the request was recorded?

A successful submission displays a Novan order ID. If no order ID appears, the page does not claim that the request was saved, and the cart should remain available for retry.

Are batch reports available?

Novan does not currently publish batch-specific independent laboratory reports for the catalog inventory. Only a report verified and mapped to the offered batch would be represented as batch evidence.

Why is the website total called an estimate?

The server calculates authoritative item pricing and validates discount eligibility when the request is submitted. Written review also confirms inventory, shipping, and any other final terms before payment.

Why select a payment preference?

The preference helps Novan prepare the written response. No payment is collected by the website, and selecting a preference does not create a payment obligation.

How are shipping details handled?

The submitted destination is reviewed before payment. The written confirmation states the available method, charge, and expected processing information for an accepted request.

Can the listed materials be used by people or animals?

No. Materials represented by Novan are for lawful laboratory research and analytical use only—not human consumption, veterinary use, diagnosis, treatment, or clinical use.
